Wollongong Homeless Hub and Housing Services is committed to developing and sustaining an executive team that will lead the organisation in achieving our goals, delivering outcomes to our clients and planning strategically for the future. We are committed to providing effective training and development for all members of the executive team so they can perform their duties well, to be effective members of the governing body and to provide the organisation with informed governance.
Mandy Booker – CEO
Mandy has been with Wollongong Homeless Hub and Housing Services (formerly Wollongong emergency family housing) since 2014. Mandy has the continued privilege of leading a team of dedicated, passionate people to ensure that all people of the Illawarra are treated and supported with the dignity and respect they deserve. Mandy brings a unique style of leadership, with the vision and ability to strategically guide the organisation by identifying the current and future needs of our vulnerable community members, particularly those experiencing homelessness or at risk of homelessness.
Jayne Harris – Finance Manager
Jayne has been working at Wollongong Homeless Hub and Housing Services since 2016. Jayne brings a wealth of knowledge to the organisation with her vast and varied work experience and is key to the operational success here. Jayne enjoys the variety of work at WHHHS and knowing that all that we do here directly benefits people in the Illawarra who are doing it tough.
Jennifer Nelson – Operations Manager
Jen has a wealth of experience in administration and general management within the community sector, public and community health, out of home care and higher education, backed by a Master in Business Administration. Jen’s breadth of experience ranges from internal and external communications, partnerships and fundraising and administration management to project and people management across a range of industries. Jen is passionate about building strong internal support services that create value to the teams that provide face to face service delivery. She is passionate about the work of WHHHS which shows in her commitment to build and lead a strong team of administrators that form the backbone of Wollongong Homeless Hub and Housing Services.
Megan Arthur – Support Services Manager
Megan has been with the Wollongong Homeless Hub and Housing Services for over seven years. Megan’s has a Bachelors in Social Work and extensive expertise in complex needs in specialised homelessness services. Megan leads the support services team at WHHHS. Her many years of experience in community mental health, general hospital social work and community development has contributed to her ability to build a high performing specialist team of support services in early intervention and prevention, outreach and assertive outreach. Megan’s passion for our clients to live successful independent lives is what drives her work with clients and her approach to team leadership.
