The Glider Project
The Glider Project is a targeted early intervention program that aims to assist people through empowerment, education and advocacy to preserve their tenancy, prevent homelessness and improve social functioning.
Our aim is to support new and existing tenancies and provide interventions to improve the situation before the tenancy issues become unmanageable and the tenancy fails. The Glider Project works intensively with clients to address a wide variety of challenges they may be facing which have impacted on their wellbeing and function.
As well as favourable outcomes for clients, this early intervention ultimately prevents clients from becoming homeless and in-turn reduce the costs and social impact of homelessness on the community.
