The Board of Directors
In accepting their positions, our Board members undertake to provide sound governance and effective leadership to the organisation by ensuring that we have:
- Clear strategic directions and achievable plans that are aligned with its purpose and values
- Adequate resources to perform its work
- Competent personnel
- An effective policy framework to guide its work, implement its plans and meet its obligations
- Adequate internal controls to ensure sound financial management, risk management and legal compliance
- Adequate internal accountability mechanisms to ensure compliance with policies and procedures and to monitor organisational performance.
Amy Hains - President
Amy Hains is an accomplished executive leader with more than 20 years of experience across the health, housing, and community services sectors. She currently serves as Chair of the Wollongong Homeless Hub & Housing Services Board and is Manager, Cancer Prevention at Cancer Institute NSW.
Throughout her career, Amy has held senior leadership roles in homelessness strategy, health service planning, and organisational performance, including Deputy Chief Executive Officer of Homelessness NSW and Director of Planning, Information and Performance for Illawarra Shoalhaven Local Health District. With qualifications in Public Health and Change Management, Amy brings extensive expertise in strategic planning, service improvement and governance, underpinned by a fundamental commitment to social justice and a passion for the organisation's mission.
Armando Reviglio – Vice President
Armando Reviglio is a highly experienced community development and local government leader with almost two decades of service at Wollongong City Council, where he served as Coordinator Community Partnerships & Safety. Throughout his career, he has worked across local and state government, leading initiatives that strengthen community wellbeing, social inclusion, and public safety.
With a background in social work and professional management, Armando brings extensive expertise in community planning, partnership development, program evaluation, and social policy. His commitment to building strong, connected communities and fostering collaboration across sectors provides valuable insight and leadership to the Board.
Nandi De Arajuo - Treasurer
Nandi De Araujo is an experienced assurance and risk management professional with over 28 years in banking and financial services including 15 years leadership experience. She currently serves as Head of Business Process Transformation at an Illawarra financial institution, where she drives organisational improvement and strategic change initiatives.
Throughout her career, Nandi has held senior roles in assurance, enterprise and operational risk management, developing extensive expertise in governance, risk, compliance, and business transformation. With a strong commercial background and a passion for continuous improvement, Nandi brings valuable strategic insight and governance expertise to the Board, supporting the organisation's commitment to effective and sustainable service delivery.
Jane Milinkovic – Committee Member
Jane Milinkovic is a highly experienced financial accountant and business advisor with extensive expertise in accounting, taxation, and business strategy. She is the Managing Director of Mi Business Advisory, where she supports organisations across financial management, business planning, cloud accounting systems, and operational improvement.
Jane brings significant governance and leadership experience through her long-standing role as Director and Treasurer of Wollongong Homeless Hub & Housing Services. Her career also includes senior finance leadership roles, including Chief Financial Officer within the health sector and Directorship in a Chartered Accounting Practice.
With a strong background in both professional services and not-for-profit governance, Jane brings valuable financial oversight, strategic thinking, risk management capabilities, and asset acquisition diligence to the Board.
Catherine Moyle - Committee Member
Catherine Moyle is a community and Indigenous engagement leader with extensive experience across education, research, public health, and emergency services. She currently serves as Conscious Community Lead within the Indigenous Strategy Unit at the University of Wollongong, where she supports initiatives that strengthen Indigenous engagement, education, and community partnerships.
Catherine has held numerous leadership and governance roles across the Illawarra region, including President of Wollongong Northern Districts Aboriginal Community and Chairperson of Healthy Cities Australia. Her career spans community development, health promotion, and emergency management, including long-standing service with the NSW State Emergency Service.
With a PhD and Master of Public Health, Catherine brings deep expertise in research, community engagement, and culturally informed practice. She offers strong leadership, advocacy, and strategic insight to the Board, with a focus on inclusive, community-led outcomes.
Carlie Schofield - Committee Member
Carlie Schofield is a proud Yuin woman living on Dharawal Country in Wollongong with a strong commitment to supporting Aboriginal people and communities through culturally appropriate mental health care. She is currently undertaking a Graduate Diploma of Psychology with the goal of becoming an Aboriginal psychologist.
Carlie has worked across community and digital mental health as a counsellor for the past 12 years. She is currently a provisional psychologist completing a Master of Clinical Psychology at the University of Sydney, alongside her work as an Aboriginal mental health and cultural consultant. Her work spans clinical practice, Aboriginal mental health, cultural consultation and research, with a particular interest in culturally responsive psychology, Social and Emotional Wellbeing, intergenerational trauma and the relational and cultural foundations of wellbeing.
Carlie brings to the Board a strong connection to community and a commitment to Aboriginal-led outcomes, advocacy and culturally informed practice. She hopes to contribute to Aboriginal-centred research, mentor Aboriginal psychology students, and support the next generation of Aboriginal professionals.
